Beneficial Experience Includes:       

            

· Demonstration of a safe career in the bush

· Use of 4x4 Pickups.

· Use of All Terrain Vehicles (ATV safety course).

· Use of map and air photos for field work.

· Identification of native plant species.

· Soil classification for ecosite classification purposes.

· Use of GPS machines (different models).

· Familiarity with the Alberta Timber Harvesting and Operating Ground Rules, the Forest Practices Code of BC and related guidebooks.

· Familiarity with the Provincial Water Act and related Codes of Practice.

· Familiarity with forest inventory techniques and field equipment.

· Identification of wildlife species by: visual, aural, and tracks.

All employees must have a valid first aid certificate and class five drivers license with a clean abstract.
